Health benefits of broccoli juice

Broccoli is an excellent source of vitamin C, K, A and manganese. There are approximately 300 studies on the health benefits of broccoli: some benefits include their reduction in certain cancers, anti-allergy and reducing cholesterol levels.

It has a lot of of calcium as a glass of milk, and is packed with phytonutrients that help support detox at every stage, starting at the DNA level. Phytonutrients compounds may help preventing diabetes, heart disease and some cancer.

There are three glucosinolates phytonutrients: glucoraphanin, gluconasturtiin and glucobrassicin. They are found in broccoli help activate neutralize, and eliminate unwanted contaminants from the body.

Broccoli is rich in substances called isothiocynates, chemicals shown to stimulate the body’s production of its own cancer fighting substances. It helps to protect from several types of cancer such as bladder, breast, colon and ovarian cancers.

Antioxidant beta carotene in broccoli can reduce the risk of eye disease such as macular degeneration and cataracts.
