Pumpkin juice and health benefits

Pumpkin is a commonly use vegetation and used is used in cooked, steamed, steam boiled form as a sweet in juice. Pumpkin is regarded as valuable vegetables primarily because of the high carotenoid content, the low energetic value, high in carbohydrates and minerals. Pumpkin contains biologically active components that include polysaccharides, paraaminobenzoic acid, fixed oils, sterol, proteins and peptides.

Juice of fresh ripe pumpkin taken regularly helps to get rid of kidney stones. Pumpkin juice is very useful in cases of sunstroke, heatstroke, acidity, and liver troubles. It keeps the body cool during hot summer months.

Pumpkin juice is often applied externally on the face to remove dirt, black spots and to make the skin soft and lovely. Eating pumpkin is good for the heart. The fiber, potassium and vitamin C content in pumpkin all support heart health. Consuming adequate potassium is almost as important as decreasing sodium intake for treatment of hypertension (high-blood pressure).
